Orange timber screens, a cylindrical stair and hill-station light - a house that lives between Accra and the Akuapem ridge.

Set in Aburi, this four-bedroom apartment building is a study in climate and craft. A cylindrical timber stair tower anchors the composition; deep balconies and vertical screens temper the sun; stone plinth and terracotta paving root the house in the hillside. Viarch took the project from schematic design through working drawings, interiors and construction guidance - including cabinets, wardrobes and selected walls.
